Benchmarks
This section presents performance benchmarks for Maestro, Qoro Quantum’s intelligent quantum simulator. These benchmarks evaluate Maestro’s ability to accelerate quantum program development through simulation and estimation, especially in hybrid and distributed settings.
We focus on three benchmark categories:
1. General Performance Benchmarks
An overview of Maestro’s performance across a variety of quantum workloads — from standard gate-based circuits to variational algorithms. This section compares simulation runtimes and backend selection strategies across different circuit sizes and structures.
2. Distributed Quantum Computing
This benchmark evaluates Maestro’s composite simulation approach, which allows for modular simulation of distributed quantum computing circuits. It measures how Maestro performs when simulating quantum datacenter networks, including inter-node communication delays and circuit partitioning strategies.

3. Estimation and Prediction
This section focuses on Maestro’s ability to estimate runtime and energy consumption based on circuit structure and backend characteristics — even without executing the full simulation. It highlights use cases in early-stage optimization and backend selection.
